On Tuesday, December 20th there will be a presentation of new voting systems by 4 vendors at the Blair County Courthouse. This presentation will be held in the Commissioners meeting room in the basement at 1:00pm.

Lamar Advertising has been in the news lately regarding their refusal to honor a contract for billboards by the Democratic National Committee. Lamar has an office in Altoona and seems to own most of the billboards in the area.
